When I asked Sam to answer these questions, he just groaned. The second time I asked Sam to answer these questions, and he rolled his eyes. After the third time I asked him, he grudgingly complied. Once you read his first answer, you will understand!
What is something I always say?
"Could you.....Would you.....Can you.....Will you?"
I would love to lie and tell you that this is an exaggeration, but it
is probably accurate. The only thing I say more is "I love you."
What makes me happy?
"Me loving you" OK, this one is dead on!
What makes me sad?
"When we are not close" Exactly.
How tall am I?
"5 ft 6 inches" Yep.
What is my favorite thing to do?
"Work in the garden"
There are many more.
And I am surprised that spanking and sex were not mentioned!
What do I do when you are not around?
"Housework, cook, wrap presents lately"
If I become famous what would it be for?
"Writing, I hope" Love that answer!
What makes you proud of me?
"When you accomplish a difficult goal you have set for yourself"
What is my favorite food?
"Shrimp and more shrimp" That's true but is beer a food?
What is my favorite restaurant?
"Anyplace with shrimp - especially unlimited"
My record is 43 fried shrimp at one meal!
Sam thought that one should be eligible for the
Guinness World Records.
Where is my favorite place to visit?
"Neighborhood Pub" Yep, and draft IPA.
If I could go anywhere where would it be?
"London" Yes, yes, and yes again.
How do I annoy you?
"When you are contrary" No comment
What's my favorite film?
"Thousand Clowns or Silverado" There are dozens more!
You get a phone call that I'm in trouble. Who will I be with?
"Someone from work"
I think he is referring to some of our girl happy hours/dinners.
This was fun, and I have loved reading these from other bloggers.
Thanks, Lilli!
Here's one more thing Sam might say and I would agree.
Here is something I would say.
Ella,
ReplyDeleteShrimp is good, very good. I loved doing Lilli's meme with my man. Glad you got Sam to do it too. It is so much fun to read everyone's answers!

I do love memes. Always feel I get to know other bloggers better with each answer.

Sam knows both my strengths and my weaknesses. That is why he is my rock. He loves me no matter what.
DeleteHugs From Ella
Ella,
ReplyDeleteYou have been busy today! I love your answers. Sam is a wise Hoh. He knows you well and is not afraid to tell us the truth. HA!
Meredith
Mere,
DeleteI thought some of his answers were a bit too honest! It was a busy day. Working part time is really working for me!
Ella
Thank you Ella and Sam for sharing your answers. Shrimp is very good and unlimited shrimp is even better! :D
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings...Cat
Sam always makes shrimp on Christmas Day. It's a tradition around this house. He can count on me to help with any leftovers.
DeleteLove When You Visit, Cat!
Hi Ella, loved reading Sam's answers and your comments. Loved his answers to 2 and 3 and what makes him proud. He is a keeper and knows you well :)
ReplyDeleteSorry, I have to deviate from everyone else on the shrimp. Not a fan of seafood at all.

Sometimes ttwd makes me feel like I can fly. When the connection gets broken, however, I come crashing down.
DeleteElla Loves Flying Best
Hi Ella, very nice, lots of answers that show how together you are.
ReplyDeletelove Jan, xx
This meme was fun to do. It reminds me of a dumb quiz show that was on the TV long ago. It was called The Newlywed Game. It was all about how well do you know each other. Lots of bloopers!
DeleteHugs Across the Pond,
Ella
Great reading here. Sam does know you well. Laughed at your shrimp answer - I remember that. I recently read an article about a couple of journalists tested Red Lobsters Unlimited Shrimp Fest. Between the two of them they consumed 305 shrimp in eight hours.
ReplyDeleteHello there, Sunny Girl!
DeleteIf there is ever a beach trip in the future, I will demonstrate my prowess with plates of shrimp. Don't waste my time with fries or cole slaw!
Love,
Ella
Loved reading this, Ella, I think Sam has you taped! I hope you get another shot at London before too long, I'm hoping to make it back to New York next year. Yes, the grass is greener on the other side of the pond for us both!
ReplyDeleteRosie xx
Dear Rosie,
DeleteIt is so nice to hear from you more again. Missed you, my friend. London is always in my thoughts. You will be among the first to know if there is a visit planned!
Hugs Across the Pond,
Ella
Sam really does know you well. I loved reading both you answers. I hope you visit London soon.

That is the sweet part of marriage. Someone who knows you well and loves you anyway!
ReplyDeleteIf there is another trip to London, I sincerely hope to eat, drink, and be merry. And of course, see you again.
Hugs Across the Pond,
Ella
Ella I really loved Sam's answers. As the others have said he knows you well.
