No one can deny that good spanking leads to good sex. And if sex is great, then it's lots of fun to have pretty lingerie. I think it was Meredith who had a post once that talked about how it was strange to spend so much on something that was just going to end up on the floor. That is true and when fingering the tag, it really makes you think. But then you also think about how it will feel to slip into them/it/whatever and the look on his face when he sees you. That is a very worthwhile way to spend some dollars once in a while.
Let me start this story again and take you back a few years with Sam and I. When we were first making the big decisions about dd and ttwd, we knew we did not want lots of rules or intricate systems to determine what sort of spanking was needed. There were several discussion that led to some changes about what was and was not acceptable about my temper. I specifically asked for the help I needed to eat in a healthy way and maintain my weight. The other big change came with regard to my spending on clothes or shoes.
I have already admitted to a shoe addiction in an earlier post. That is now much more controlled and in line with what Sam sees as a healthy number of shoes. I sort of view it as a 12 stepper
|These are very cute.|
|So are these.|
This has been in effect for close to 2 years, and I am finding I am much more discriminating about my purchases. In fact for the last 4 months, I have been banking most of my cash towards a huge vacation we are planning. I feel very sensible and happy with myself. There have been trips out of state where I may spend a bit more, but we always talk about it first. If I need a pair of black pants for work, Sam will tell me to get any basics needed.
And if I do get an itch to shop, there is one type of purchase at Sam and Ella's that is always in the budget-free zone. And, as you can guess by the title of the post, that would be lingerie. Lovely filmy little things that slide up and barely cover anything anyway. In fact if you are not accustomed to those tiny little thongs, you definitely need to get used to having the string that is supposed to be the back right between your cheeks.
I have much more fun with brassieres. I like the ones with no lining of course. Ugh, I really hate any kind of foam. Lots of muted colors, too. Lilac and red wine and soft greens and blues and pinks. Can't go wrong with black lace, of course. Lace is always nice, but there are also some beautiful ones that have supportive strips reminiscent of corsets.
Oh, let's do talk corsets.
Sam truly loves those! I do, too, but I must admit that not only do they end up on the floor, but it takes forever to get them hooked. I swear a lot during the getting them on part. Sam taking them off is lots more fun. Stockings, too. Sometimes he never does take those off.
I love easy little chemise type slips, and these are much easier than corsets by a mile. It is an easy 20 second bedroom outfit, and we are ready to play. Again, see-through lace is always a favorite. Many are from a brand called "In Bloom by Jonquil." I found the first one at Nordstrom. Since then I have found the same brand much cheaper at TJ Maxx. Also like "Betsey Johnson." Some simple and slinky, and others that float over you.
Anyway, Victoria's Secret is a budget-free zone, and it is fun to try things on. There can be many a "No" before you find that "Yes!" Then, too, one of Sam's favorites is just me in one of his white shirts and nothing else.
